Bring Your Kids to Work Day

So yesterday was "Bring Your kids To Work" Day. I brought Abhimanyu to my office. He was very very excited. Previous night instructions to me were - "Mummy Kal main apne clothes khud pick karoonga."
Morning he got up early and got ready without any fuss. Thoughroughly enjoyed the train and the ferry ride to work. He was calling the ferry "canoe". So all through the day I kept correcting him. Finally at the end of the day he said "Main ferry ko canoe he bolta hoon". There no more correcting the boy.

He gave the tickets to the conductors and chatted with Mayuri all the way in the train. Very proudly showed his blue t-shirt to my friends. :-)

Office mein aakar he adjusted after sometime and played with couple of kids (desi boys - his age). Then my boss gave him some toys - spiderman which he totally loved.
For food we went to McDonalds where he ate his kids meal and ice cream.
Haan one of the friend's son was 3 years old. Younger than him, so when Baba was playing with him, he is refering to himself, as "Bhaiya" He says -Dekho aise karo jaise Bhaiya kar raha hai. So my friend was saying that he is totally a big brother. :-)
Dono boys ko poora control mein rakha hua tha...one friend said - "Bahut teej hai tera ladka"

At around 2 we left and reached home by 3:30. Both of us were totally smashed out.

Abhimanyu's first concert at school

So April 21st was the Abhimanyu's first concert in which he performed. School closed early, so picked him up early and then bought fries from Burger King as had been planned by me and him a day earlier. After fries we reached home. He was very very excited. Explained some things to me. "You can wave to me, but I cant wave to you" "you sit in the audience on 13# seat" "Pull down the seat before you sit". A day earlier he had asked not to go to work as it was his concert. When Rahul said he would come back early he said "OK, tum bas apne computer par ek tapan daba kar aa jana" :-)
We started well in time, so much so that, an extra round about trip to pick up a bag that we forgot, and we were still in time. Michelle, my friend had saved us second row seats. Baba was all dressed up in black t-shirt, black formal pants, formal black shoes, and a red shiny vest. He ran upto his friends in the Becton High School. Told me to go the audience.
His dance was the most amazing thing that I have seen in a while. He was having so much fun up on the stage performing. He even waved to us. Priceless.
Mahika was sleeping and as soon as the concert started, she got up and started watching. 10 mins into the concert and she was in the lap standing and clapping and jumping up and down. All of just loved the whole thing.
